A day at la Metairie des Elfes
Here we share the story of a day in our animal boarding house, by Paul, our intern who made us the friendship to tell us one of his days:
It’s 8 a.m. My day at the boarding house begins, I will feed the dogs and clean their kennels. Today there are 17 dogs and 3 cats to keep, cuddle and care for. While Fanta is waiting for Pepsi to eat, Pepsi still wants to play outside, a ball in the mouth.
9:30 a.m.: I take care of the cats and, as usual, Micio is already awake to ask for food. Once the cats get tired of my company, I wash the bowls, I put the linen (covers …)in the washing-machine and I lay out the clean linen. Then I take the dogs out a second time.
12:00 p.m.: It’s the lunch break and I take the opportunity to leave the little dogs out in the yard.
2 p.m.: I clean the grooming room and lay out the laundry that has been washed in the morning, then put away the dry laundry.
3:30 p.m.: I take the little dogs out one last time and feed them. Anthea does not want to go home and stay hidden in the entrance of the large pension.
4:30 p.m.: I take the dogs out of the big boarding house one last time for today, and I take the opportunity to feed them.
6 p.m.: End of day, I go up to the flat available for the trainees and rest for the next day...
